About Sue
Sue has always painted. Her mother was an art teacher so help and materials were always available to her growing up. This led her to attend Brighton Art College, but her mural painting is largely self-taught.
She has always been interested in horses and animals and she is a qualified horse riding instructor. When working in Bavaria, looking after show jumping horses, she was inspired by the beautiful murals and trompe l'oeil in the castle where she lived.
Sue started painting murals in Scotland - mainly Glasgow and Edinburgh where she lived for 5 years. She is now settled in Steyning, West Sussex at the foot of the South Downs.
As well as murals, interiors and art generally, Sue is passionate about wildlife and the countryside. Her spare time is spent riding, or walking her dog on the Downs.
